The Tartan Pro Tour's Portlethen Classic presented by Entier is reaching its climax this week at Portlethen Golf Club, and two of Apeiron Clothing's own are right in the mix heading into tomorrow's final round.

Jack McPhail and James Nash both sit tied 16th at -5 overall as the field prepares for the final 18 holes, and the stories behind their scorecards make for great reading.

Jack McPhail — Building Momentum

Jack opened his tournament with a solid 70 before firing a superb 67 in round two to make his move up the leaderboard. That second round shows exactly what Jack is capable of when he's in full flow, and he heads into the final day with real confidence and plenty of holes to make up ground on the leading pack.

James Nash — Fast Out of the Blocks

James went the other way, carding a brilliant 67 on day one to put himself in contention from the off, before a composed 70 in round two kept him firmly in the picture. Two consistent rounds under par is a platform any professional would be happy with going into a final day chase.

The Final Round Picture

American John Vogelpohl leads the way at -13, with Michael Stewart and Robbie Morrison just behind at -12 and -11 respectively. There's plenty of golf still to be played, and with eight shots to make up, Jack and James will need to bring their very best to Portlethen tomorrow.

We'll be watching closely and cheering them on every step of the way. Come on lads, go get it. 🏌️
